To celebrate World Environment Day a charity in the South West is inviting everyone to visit www.fairsharesfairchoice.com to see which individuals, organisations and businesses are backing the principle of a 'fair world share' of carbon for everyone and leading the way on low-carbon living.
Over 360 sign ups have been received to the Fair Shares, Fair Choice movement initiated by Sustainability South West. Those backing the principle of globally safe and fair carbon shares for everyone include famous residents of the region like Tim Smit of the Eden Project and the government’s sustainability guru Jonathon Porritt.
Supporters already include public agencies including county councils, schools, local and big businesses, universities, national parks, AONB’s and wildlife trusts, charities, community groups, and scores of local residents! Click here to see the full range of Fair Shares, Fair Choice supporters.
