Sustainability South West Members

Sustainability South West's Board Membership brings together the experience and expertise of a wide range of sectors, each with a stake in the sustainable development agenda. Members join as individuals - not as representatives of their 'day job' organisation but with an independent voice (even though their membership may be as a result of the professional position they hold).

As a 'champion' of sustainability each Member promotes the principles of sustainable development within their own area of influence. Being a Board Member gives them the opportunity to make new connections - engaging with people from different sectors, sharing expertise, exchanging best practice and promoting consensus on the best way forward.

Membership is maintained at around 25 and is regularly reviewed to respond to the emerging regional sustainability agenda. Read our decadal review 1998-2008: 'a decade of experience to shape a sustainable future' to find out more about our current membership.
