SustNav is an independent charity (registered number 1106125), a provider of sustainability Services (including workshops and assessments) and a manager of sustainability Projects. We also work to generally raise sustainability awareness, support and challenge leadership and provide advice. Our overall aim is to accelerate change towards a more sustainable society - one that is healthy, resilient, socially-just, economically stable and living with environmental limits.
Our Trustees (also Directors of the Company) have overall legal responsibility for the running of the Charity and input strategically to the work programme. Our current Chair is Mike Birkin (South West Campaigns Coordinator, Friends of the Earth) supported by Vice Chairs, Jackie Longworth and Paul Aitken. SustNav's day-to-day operation and work is managed and delivered by a small staff team headed up by Director, Leslie Watson.
